Presidential Decree No. 7887 raised the minimum capital for joint stock companies to TRY 250,000, for non-public companies in the registered capital system to TRY 500,000, and for limited liability companies to TRY 50,000.
Under Presidential Decree No. 7887, the minimum basic capital of fifty thousand Turkish lira prescribed for joint stock companies has been raised to two hundred and fifty thousand Turkish lira, and the minimum initial capital of one hundred thousand Turkish lira prescribed for non-public joint stock companies that have adopted the registered capital system has been raised to five hundred thousand Turkish lira.
The minimum basic capital of ten thousand Turkish lira prescribed for limited liability companies has been raised to fifty thousand Turkish lira.
Under the CORRECTION published in Official Gazette No. 32381 of 26 November 2023, the Decree enters into force on 1 January 2024.
