Presidential Decree No. 6583, published in the Official Gazette of 21 December 2022, extended the VAT exemption on supplies of new machinery and equipment from 31 December 2022 to 31 December 2024.
Under Presidential Decree No. 6583, published in the Official Gazette of 21 December 2022, the VAT exemption applied to supplies of new machinery and equipment made to VAT taxpayers holding an industrial registry certificate for exclusive use in manufacturing industry, and to supplies of new machinery and equipment made to those engaged in R&D, innovation and design activities for exclusive use in those activities, has been extended from 31 December 2022 to 31 December 2024.
