This notice explains how the personal data you submit through kocaymm.com is processed, under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
Personal data processed
Through the contact form, only the data you enter is processed:
- Full name and e-mail address (required)
- Company name and telephone number (optional)
- Subject and message content
The newsletter form processes only your e-mail address.
Purpose and legal basis
Your data is processed solely to assess your enquiry and respond to you. The legal basis is your explicit consent, given by ticking the consent box when you submit the form (KVKK Article 5/1). For newsletter sign-ups, the purpose is to send updates on legislation and current developments.
Data submitted through the form is not used for marketing, sold, or shared with third parties.
Transfer and retention
Form submissions are delivered by e-mail to our corporate mailbox. This delivery takes place through Google Workspace, our e-mail infrastructure provider, and your data may therefore reside on that provider’s servers.
Your data is retained for as long as necessary to conclude your enquiry and to meet obligations arising from the applicable legislation, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Cookies and measurement
The site uses Google Analytics to measure visitor behaviour in aggregate, without identifying individuals. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may then not work as expected.
Your rights under the KVKK
Under Article 11 of the Law you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is being processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose; know the third parties to whom the data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad; request correction if the data is incomplete or incorrect; request erasure or destruction; request that such actions be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred; object to a result arising against you from analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems; and claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.
